The Snake Castle is a late 12th-century castle in Turkey. Located on the Silk Road, Snake Castle was built by the Byzantines during the Crusaders in the Middle Ages. The structure, which is located on a rock, was a difficult castle to conquer with its extremely cleverly designed strong walls and portable stairs connecting the gates. The castle, where old inscriptions and historical ruins are located, is very important in terms of tourism.
